What are you weaving with your life?

Each of us is a placeholder, a vortex spinner, a weaver of worlds. Each of us holds the space in the world for a particular braid of light, love and life energy (our own unique calling) to emerge. We gather this braid from the threads of the world which glow out at us - and for each of us, these threads will be different. The braid calls to the weaver - the weaver braids and calls for the threads.

This is co-creation. This weaving and braiding.

Here are some questions to get you in the rhythm of this organic and beautiful process:

Imagine that your life is a physical space - a room - carved from the wholeness of the world for you, by you.1) Look around this room. What's here?  As you scan, look in all the closets, behind the curtains, under the bed. What's here? What's calling to be seen? What feels illuminated, glowing? What makes you shiver with delight? What catches your eye, your heart, your interest?2) As you scan this room, notice if there is anything there that seems to be glowing particularly brightly. Those are the threads of your weaving - add them to your braid.Begin braiding.Invite every unfinished project, neglected relationship and half-written poem before you and make a choice: send it off to find another weaver or pull it, with new interest, into your braid.Braid it in or let it go.Is there anything in the 'room of you' that feels used up, old or stale? Invite it to leave or transform. No half-hearted, un-claimed threads allowed.

I'd love to hear about what you are weaving. I'll go first so you can see what I mean: Right now, I am braiding in poetry, literature, music and museums. I am adding threads of wonder and curiosity - I want to meet the world with more openness, more attentiveness to beauty. I am braiding in this phrase:  It's okay for me to play. And this one, I am invited to the party. (I am braiding these threads in pink - because pink is fun!)As I braid in these threads, I am naturally pulling out old and used up threads of toxicity from every layer of my life. More fruit - less dairy. More water, less caffeine. My braid is expanding with clarity, wholeness and lightening up. I am opening the back door of my life and inhaling. I am holding my eyes, my mind and my heart open to the call of the world. So now it's your turn: What are you weaving with  your life?
