Dream: This is the way

There are five statues - five concrete people, each standing in a different position. There is one for each part of the day. They are so beautiful and fascinating that I reach out to touch one.It warms under my fingertips and becomes real - drawing me inside of itself like a magnetic field.I melt into the statue - taking its shape. Who I am saturates the shape and the shape saturates who I am. As we merge, the statue gives me its name: Paschimo, a Sanskrit word that means 'west' - and, in that place in my head where I see things, I see a moon.

I discover that I can enter the other statues by simply touching each concrete form. Delighted, I play - entering and leaving each statue several times. Each statue evokes a different feeling state. This teaches me things about the world, and myself: How to stand. How to be strong. How to soften. The statues teach without speaking: by vibrating their names through me. The name holds the vibration. It's some kind of map - very old. As the statue 'speaks' itself through me, ancient patterns and flashes of heat tremble through me.I feel all of this and then, I 'see it' on the inside of myself - a web of bright filament, summer lightning re-patterning the night sky.As I wake up, I understand that I can return again tomorrow. This is the way.
