There is no future. Only that which we imagine could happen and that which we fear might happen

And now we begin the second session/sitting with the guides.Amy begins with the following list of titles, drawn from yesterday's transmission: Performing holy acts. The bridge of your gift. These things feel illuminated to her and she has questions about them. (At this point, as you are reading along, if you, the reader, have questions for the guides, you may ask them in the comments and we will answer them in the course of our work here and now together. And this will deepen this work. And this will expand us into new areas with the addition of your attention to it.)Amy is also holding questions around: Naming, blessing, consecrating, prophecy; The gift of imagery and Mom's painting, all of which we will cover in the book that we are offering here. She is also concerned about being labeled a 'channel' and we are suggesting that she release all binding to that name and find one that is more comfortable.We begin with comforting words to Amy, who needs to settle her energy to best receive our message.Holy, holy all is well.You are here and we are here with you. All is well.We begin.Today we will offer our message with Amy sitting at the keyboard. This is an experiment, meant to shorten the time of her process. We are clearing her energy and will begin when she is ready.holy holy all is well.The challenge for the channel/vessel is to find the thread of our transmission, our voice, among the many threads. You feel for it with the mind which can sense differences in vibration - in frequency - which may be experienced as gradients of temperature, color, sound, sensation, visible images and/or pressure in the body, especially in the ears and forehead, a buzzing vibration in the throat, nervous system, hands, root chakra and soles of the feet. So, there are many physical sensations, each indicating acceleration in the body and general elevated frequency.Also, the channel's own concerns create density which she must breathe through and set to the side and settle into vibratory readiness to receive our message.  All of these concerns come under the rubric of anxiety, and so it is fitting that we begin here now, by opening the discussion of fluency and anxiety or resistance to the flow of energy.Anxiety is the resistance to holding power. Power is moving (flowing) energy. The ability to move (flow) energy is an skill and an instinct. Which is to say that you are born doing it and it develops naturally. Until you systematically un-learn it. This takes much work and time - years of schooling and indoctrination into following rules and expecting punishment. When we expect to be punished, we learn to self-regulate/self-censor. We learn to repress/ignore our instincts in favor of reward/punishment system. Joy-based rewards are how you were made. Your teachers did not know this as they, too, were un-schooled of their natural instinct years earlier. There is a trend now toward re-education. This is a part of that transmission. This trend is led by your own heart/soul and the collective heart/soul of the world. You can feel/sense the difference between punishment-driven living and joy-led life.We are here now to demonstrate the rewards of following joy.And fluency is a marker of steadiness, readiness and willingness - and this is an indicator of your preparedness to receive.(Amy's husband is walking back and forth and looking in at her which is creating much interference as it draws her attention from the attendance to our message to attendance to him and concerns that he will interrupt the flow of our connection. And all of this is good as it is another opportunity to teach about the flow of energy and the joy-led life, which is our purpose in this book and always.)In the joy-led life, every interruption is an opening to a new pathway to be forged, a choice point: What is here to see? Oh, look, here is a fork in the road and which turning will I take?We spoke earlier of the 'age of anxiety' and this is indeed such an age as it is also 'the age of interrupted attention'.When you spend all day attending to holding the thread of your own identity and state - as commercial messages pierce your awareness like puncture wounds - you can become exhausted. As these messages attempt to divert your attention to their purposes - the purchase of this hand cream or that drug or soap powder; the vote for this president, senator or congresswoman, you are learning to manage your attention .And this is the question of your time. How will you manage the stream of your attention in this cacophony?There is no future - only that which we imagine might happen and that which we fear will happen. And none of this is real or fixed - they are thoughts and images in the mind to which we create bindings and draw the toward us by the flow and power of our attention to them. And this is how we create all things we make - art, inventions, stories. We see something in our mind's eye and are drawn toward it, and in-spired by it. Again, this a good and natural function of the psyche.When we are in-spired by something we breathe life into it by our continued attention to it and our action upon it as if it were real. And here we will introduce one of the concepts which you, Amy, have struggled to present to in your classes and writings. You have called this 'imaginative projection' which is a good name and true but which overly complicates what readers already understand as 'vision'. So we will use that name.(We are showing Amy images of meditation, yoga, monks on mountaintops, people out of doors walking in nature - all of which are activities to quiet the mind and calm the attention, which eases anxiety. Holding to these visions draws you toward them. And we are showing her also, birds, ocean waves and calming music - and her husband is walking back and forth, back and forth. How perfect this is! So much here to see. )First, let us say that there have always been interruptions. and that your increasing sensitivity is not caused by the noise of your world (and when we say 'noise' we include the 'noise' of perfumes and chemicals, toxins in the air, water and food supply, and all other seeming assaults on the senses.) Your increased sensitivity is, for the most part, the result of your evolution into higher frequency beings. At these higher frequencies, you are more diffuse so there is less density in the body and these things irritate more. You are less boundaried, by design - in order to allow you to become more open to the gifts of this time, increased intuition, the opening of the heart and increasing interconnectivity.So there are gifts and challenges to evolution - to ascension. You may find it difficult to adapt to the noise of your world and to feel yourself without distortion. To hold your thread of attention and to hold the state of your body, mind and emotions in alignment with what is comfortable for you.This is an invitation to work with the interruption, the toxin, the noise. To dance with what is here. In the joy-led life, an interruption is a dance partner, not an assailant. A friend, beckoning you into conversation, into change. Yes, you are sensitive. Yet, this is not about the world being too much, too loud, too anything. This is about learning to build density in the boundary of your own system.  This is a call to 'thicken' your boundaries. And here we come to the discussion on resilience.This morning we named four resiliences: feeling or emotional resilience, which is the ability to manage and balance your feeling state; thinking or intellectual resilience, which is the ability to manage one's mental and psychological well-being; and, physical or ecological resilience, which is the ability to maintain the stasis/balance of the systems of the body and its energy flows; and, finally, spiritual or soul resilience, which is the ability to attune all of your systems to the higher purposes of evolution. We are showing Amy the image of the human being as a living flow of energy. Water standing up in the air....(To be continued... )----------In the text above, I have made only one editorial change. The text on anxiety, indicated in green, was actually flowed yesterday morning. It was the first thing the guides offered and I reserved it, hoping they would create a context where it would make more sense.They did.I will say that the way that these messages flow to me (as blocks of imagery) means that the information can feel as if it is streaming in backwards. I 'see' or 'understand' each block as a wholeness - all at once - and then, I am led, step by step, through a kind of unspooling or unpacking of the information. It's a fascinating way to learn but as I said, when I turn to present it to others, it often feels backward to me - as if I am receiving the end at the beginning.I have tried to solve this 'problem' in several ways, none of which work particularly well. I've tried to bring through the entire teaching before offering it to others. That overwhelms me. I've tried to shuffle the chapters around. This confuses me.The guides have counseled me to present the flow the way that they offer it and to let you, the reader, receive it as I do - and to trust you to understand the 'end at the beginning.' This has complicated things for me as it has meant that I would be revealing myself as one who receives 'transmissions', as a 'channel' or 'medium' and I have felt squirmy and uncomfortable about those labels. Which is a kind of anxiety, isn't it? And makes the missing chunk of this teaching all the more relevant.
