School of Sacred Images

Where we study Interior Design — not the furniture and paint colors, but the design of our own interior.

What This Place Is

The School of Sacred Images is a school for people who sense that something in them is trying to emerge.

We study the sacred images we live inside of without knowing it — the inherited pictures of world, family, home, self, and other. Images embedded with memory, emotion, and the energy of the past still living in the present. We learn to see them. Then we learn to reshape them — through creative practice, guided imagery, and deep listening.

This is incarnational work. We don't leave the body to find the sacred. The sacred has been living in the body all along — in your daily routines, your relationships, your creative impulses, your aches, your longings, your actual Tuesday afternoon.

The foundational principle is simple: we are a one-eyed culture. We lost the visionary eye — the eye that reads symbols, that understands poems, that sees beneath the surfaces of things. Without it, stones and trees no longer speak to us. We lost our depth perception. The world tilted out of balance.

This school re-teaches symbolic reception. We practice opening the other eye.

The Circle

The Circle is the heart of the teaching. A weekly gathering where we practice together.

Each week, I lead a guided imaginal journey — a deep, storied meditation that moves through mythic landscape. You'll visit the Soul Caller Sanctuary: a tent at the top of a hill, a well, a campfire. You'll take your seat in the circle and be met by your own guides — ancestors, angels, the unseen support that has always been near you.

You ask for guidance. You receive it. You write what you see. Then we come together for conversation, reflection, and what I call illuminated listening — a gentle practice of encouraging the soul and true self into view.

The Circle follows the wheel of the year. We move through the seasons together — the myths, the festivals, the rhythms of becoming and un-becoming that have structured human life for thousands of years. Each week's journey is rooted in Becoming Real, my Substack publication, where I write about this work in public. The Circle is where the writing becomes practice.

You can enter at any point. You are always welcome. You are never behind.

Why Me

I have been doing this work — in one form or another — for thirty years.

In 2004, two doors opened in the same month. I was given an angel experiences column at Woman's World magazine — a weekly column I would ghost-write for the next ten years, read by two million people a week. During that time, I read thousands of letters from people who had been touched by something they couldn't explain. That same year, I enrolled in Caroline Myss's CMED Institute — a two-year intensive in archetypal reading, energy anatomy, and spiritual discernment. I was studying with one of the great mystic teachers while simultaneously learning, letter by letter, how ordinary people encounter the sacred in daily life.

That double education shaped everything that followed. I began to receive my own cascade of signs and synchronicities, vivid dreams where I was schooled in ancient mystery arts. People began to seek me out for spiritual guidance.

One day, I woke before dawn to find words arriving faster than I could write them. Over forty-eight hours, a complete five-week training in spiritual awakening came through — fully formed, already named. It called itself the Soul Caller Training. I taught it to hundreds of people over the next three years, learning alongside my students as the work deepened.

Along the way, I trained in what I needed: IFS, somatic and trauma-sensitive approaches, narrative counseling, depth psychology. I published two books — My Guardian Angel with Hay House, and Sea of Miracles under my own imprint. I created the Soul Call Cards. I sat with hundreds of people in private sessions, doing the thing I do best: listening until the soul comes into view.

Then, in 2024, I had a stroke. And the work I'd been teaching became the work that saved my life. Everything I'd given my students — the guided journeys, the imaginal practice, the capacity to read the body's messages — I had to use on myself. The stroke broke open what was left of the performing self and left me with what was real.

I don't lead this school because I have credentials that say I can. I lead it because I've lived the curriculum.
